Start your day meeting your guide in Shkoder, then set off on a scenic drive toward the mountains. Before the swimming and canyon air, you’ll make a short stop at the Venetian Masks Museum near Shkoder, an easy, fun visit that adds a splash of culture (and some great photos) to the day.
Next, it’s time for the main event: the Kiri River canyon. After a short walk over stones to reach the best spots, you’ll arrive at natural pools framed by rock formations and lush scenery. Spend the afternoon swimming, sunbathing, and soaking up the calm, with plenty of time to enjoy the water at your own pace. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can go for bolder dips and jumps! You’ll also stop at a natural waterfall, where you can cool down under the cascade.
On the way back to Shkoder, you'll stop at the Mesi Bridge, a beautifully preserved Ottoman-era landmark stretching across the Kiri River.
Expect a day that feels equal parts easy adventure and total reset, the kind you’ll still be smiling about on the ride back!

Hi! I’m Elsa, and I’ll be your guide for a day of crystal-clear water, canyon views, and a little local history sprinkled in!
I love showing guests the quiet swimming spots around Shkoder that you’d probably drive right past without a local. I keep the day relaxed, fun, and easy, with plenty of time to swim, take photos, and just enjoy being outdoors 😊

We had a great excursion. It was not physically demanding; there are enough opportunities to cool off, and you see wonderful (river) landscapes. The water is super clear! The guides are attentive, friendly, and talk about the landscape, herbs, etc. We would gladly recommend it!

We both enjoyed our trip and activities on the day. Our tour guide Enya was very knowledgeable about her surroundings explaining local traditions and historical items. She was very nice and shows her enthusiasm for her job. We highly recommend her as the guide for this trip.

highlight of our Albania trip. Our guide was lovely and when we were hiking to spots would even take our bags for us to make it easier to get across the rocks. HIGHLY recommend. The hiking itself was not strenuous - we spent most of our time swimming in the most beautiful river/waterfalls.

Elsa, our live guide, was particularly welcoming, warm, and professional. She took us to beautiful, less frequented places, making our experience truly extraordinary.

It was very, very nice, especially for the price. We met a lot of nice people. My personal highlight was jumping from the crib into the pleasant water. I would gladly come back.
