Full description
Set in the peaceful hills of Roshnik near Berat, this wine tasting experience blends nature, tradition, and a genuinely warm welcome. You’ll meet your guide Adrian at the family-run estate and begin with a gentle walk through the vineyards, where you’ll learn about the winery’s roots and the local grape varieties that thrive in this landscape.
Next, head to the rakia distillation area to discover how Albanians transform fruit into their most famous spirit through traditional techniques passed down over generations. You’ll also visit the wine cellar, where Adrian explains the winemaking process from fermentation to aging and bottling in a way that’s fun, clear, and packed with local stories.
Finally, settle in for the best part: a guided tasting of 3 wines and 2 rakia varieties, all produced on-site, served with a thoughtful spread of local finger foods (think cheeses, olives, and seasonal fruit). The pace is intentionally unhurried, because the good stuff shouldn’t be rushed.
Many guests choose to stay for dinner at the restaurant afterward (optional, paid separately), turning the tasting into a full countryside evening.

Over all, a great wine tasting experience the host was great and the other people on the tasting were all really good peeps. The one comment I whave is that they did themselves a disservice by serving their whites room temperature. I couldn't get through them. The wines should def have been chilled to show their best features. The red was so good though, we bought a bottle and had some for dinner.

A very memorable wine tasting tour! We had not come across Albanian wine until visiting Albania but we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious local grapes. Also the Raki! Our host Adrian was fun and enthusiastic, really making our experience memorable. We stayed for dinner in the restaurant which was a great selection set menu. Very generous portions, we could not finish! Would recommend, easy drive from Berat.

I've been to a lot of wineries around the world.....and.....wow. This beautiful place nestled in the mountains has it all. First of all, Adrian . I could write paragraphs. Possibly the best winery host I've had in my life. Very knowledgeable, kind, funny, and really wanted you to know the history and his love for the place. The wine was amazing but he really made the experience. Definitely check this place out- the best winery in Albania for sure 😊

We had the BEST wine tasting experience ever! Adrian was the best host, and we got the chance to experience the Albanian culture and bond with other travellers. One of the best nights of our lives, the food was also amazing. Much love from Lithuania ❤
