Buneci Beach is a tranquil, pebbly cove located between the villages of Lukovë and Piqeras, and one of the few remaining spots on the Albanian Riviera that balances basic tourist facilities with a rugged, uncommercialized atmosphere
Insider Tips
To get there, you turn off the main SH8 coastal road. The 1.5km descent is a steep, unpaved dirt track. It is manageable for most cars, but low-clearance rentals will struggle. If you are taking a furgon (minibus), ask the driver to drop you at the turnoff, but be prepared for a hot, 20-minute walk down
You can spend your time on the organized part with sunbeds (only 10-15€ for 2 sunbeds and one umbrella) and restaurants, or walk a bit further and find wilder beaches in both directions from the bridge. It's definitely a calmer alternative to the highly crowded south-coast hotspots
