Shpella e Pëllumbave (Cave of the Pigeons) is a stunning, sequestered beach tucked between the rocky cliffs of the Ionian coast, just south of Mirror Beach
Insider Tips
The beach sits at the foot of massive, hollowed-out cliffs. It feels far more dramatic and wild than the manicured resorts in nearby Ksamil. It consistently rivals Mirror Beach for the "bluest water in Albania" title
To reach the beach by land, you have to descend a series of steep, rusty, and often broken iron stairs. If you have a fear of heights or poor balance, do not attempt this. Many people park at the (slightly) more accessible Mirror Beach and walk around the northern rocks through the water. It’s usually waist-deep for an adult, but don't try it if the sea is choppy
