Corniglia is a charming village located in the Cinque Terre region of Italy. Perched on a cliff, it offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea
Insider Tips
Unlike other villages, Corniglia’s train station is located at the bottom of a very long and steep set of stairs (Lardarina Climb). Alternatively, there is a shuttle bus from the station to the village square costing €2.50 each way. Departures are about every 20 min in high season
Corniglia offers a great spot for free sunbathing and swimming but it requires a 10-min walk from the centre with lots of steep stairs. Follow the handprinted wooden signs pointing to Al Mare to find it! Don't expect sand though, it's a rocky cove
