This church is usually closed to the public but the highlight of the place is the hike to to reach it and the stunning views of the Cinque Terre coast from up there!
To reach the Sanctuary of Montenero you must follow the 3.5 km path, starting near the parking lot of Riomaggiore, in the upper part of the village called Lavaccio. Getting up there will take 1-1.5 hours
