Leave the ordinary sightseeing trails behind and experience the Cetina River from inside one of Dalmatia’s most striking natural landscapes.
Your 4-hour adventure begins at the meeting point in Zadvarje, approximately 35 kilometres from Split. Meet your guide, receive your equipment, and take part in a full safety briefing before walking toward the canyon entrance.
The shared route covers approximately 2.1 kilometres through Cetina Canyon, with around 2 to 2.5 hours spent actively moving through the canyon. Hike beneath towering limestone walls, scramble across water-shaped rocks, swim through clear natural pools, and discover waterfalls hidden within the gorge.
The cool spring-fed water adds to the sense of adventure, while your included wetsuit helps keep you comfortable.
The standard route is designed for first-time canyoners, families with children aged 10 and over, and mixed-ability groups looking for an active but approachable experience.
Follow the canyon through swimming sections, rocky passages, and low cliff-jumping locations. Jumps reach a maximum height of approximately 3 metres and are always optional. There is no abseiling on this option, so you can enjoy the scenery and physical challenge without committing to a rope descent.
It is an ideal introduction to canyoning: adventurous enough to feel exciting, but supported throughout by an experienced guide who adapts the experience to the group’s comfort level.
The 'extreme' route follows the same itinerary but also includes:
Your guide prepares the ropes, manages the safety system, and supports you throughout both descents, so previous abseiling experience is not required. Every jump is optional, and your guide checks the conditions before anyone enters the water.
If you have any significant fear of heights, the standard route is a better fit.

Hi, I’m Ante, your guide for this canyoning adventure! I have descended the Cetina canyon hundreds of times and still find something new every time.
My job is to help you feel safe enough to enjoy the adventure properly. I will explain every section before we enter it, prepare and manage the entire rope system for abseils, and take photos so you can full enjoy the moment!
My favourite moment is watching someone begin the day feeling nervous and finish it saying, “Can we do that again?”

What an amazing day! My family and I were absolutely thrilled. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's up for something like this. As for communication, I only speak very little English myself, but with my boys and the awesome guide, it was all manageable. It looks incredible in the photos, but experiencing it in person is simply amazing. So have a fantastic time! ✌️
