I'm Robert, the founder of smallcarBIGCITY and the proud owner of a 1974 Mini Cooper named Jules. Inspired by my first car and a love of London’s unique charm, I created a company dedicated to showcasing the capital in style and comfort.
With a fleet of classic Minis and a team of passionate guides, my goal is to offer you a quintessentially British experience. Forget standard sightseeing tours, you’ll feel like a local while exploring London’s iconic sights and hidden gems.
Know before you go
- Please be aware that getting in and out of the car can be more difficult than entering/exiting a modern vehicle. If you are over 6 feet tall or over 16 stone in weight, you may find travel uncomfortable
- A car can accommodate up to 3 people. Parties of 4 or more will have to travel using multiple cars
- The tour is wheelchair friendly but only when 2 people are travelling in one car as the wheelchair takes up the third seat
- Luggage, large bags and pets are not allowed

This has been one of my favorite parts of London so far. It's my first time to the UK (from Canada) and this was an amazing way to see the city and learn about all the hot spots and hidden jems. I'm a huge mini fan so driving around in London in Agnes was absolutely epic!! Rhiannon was also spectacular, I loved how knowledgeable she was about the city, and how friendly and personable she was. We stopped at lots of places to take pictures and walk around to explore. I couldn't write down all the stuff she was telling me fast enough! I highly recommend this tour (and Rhiannon!) for any one looking to learn about the city, and in way more style than the hop on bus. 😉

SO MUCH FUN! Wonderful to be a tourist as well as an attraction as people point, wave and take photos as you're whisked around in the classic (but extremely well maintained) Mini Cooper. More room than you think and the sunroof allows extra vistas. Worried about spending so long with guide? You're dropped off in wonderful areas to explore on your own with all the time you want to meet back up and continue the journey. I couldn't have asked for a better way to be introduced in London. Highly recommend.

I can't tell you how magical our SMALL CAR BIG CITY tour with Chris was! My children were totally transfixed the sights and sounds of zooming around London in Chris' lovely little white Mini! That alone would have been a cool tour... add in the stops to see and experience highlights of the Paddington stories and movies and it elevated to a whole other level of special. It was literally a memory that will last a lifetime for my family. Thank you! Gosh! I forgot! Marmalade and Marmalade sandwiches served from a Paddington Bear-esque valise! Yum Yum!

Best London experience! Do it first day because you see so much then you know what you want to explore further. By the time Jaimie was finished with our tour we knew London. Jaimie was amazing! He brought everything to life and showed us a london we would not have experienced on our own. This is a must do on your trip. We did the 4 hour tour..loved whipping through the streets of London in Agnes...she gets you into spots cabbies can't get you. Book this trip you will not be sorry

SO MUCH FUN! The cars are vintage, the drivers entertaining and knowledgeable, and you get to see so many iconic places with a different view. Zipping by Big Ben with top open, listening to Beatles—so cool! Highly recommend. Fun tip—the cars will pick you up most anywhere in Zone 1–so we toured Tower of London in the morning, and then the drivers picked us up near there and gave us tour of city, ending at our hotel in Mayfair — so it was also an efficient way to get home! 🙂
