Ham House boasts some of the best-preserved 17th-century interiors in Europe, filled with original furniture, tapestries, and artwork. The surrounding gardens include ornate parterres, kitchen gardens, and a cherry orchard. From March to November, the staff runs free tours of the gardens. You can book a spot upon arrival
While the garden is open all year round from 10AM to 5PM (a reduced entrance fee is offered if you only want to visit the garden), the house is only open in the afternoon from mid-February to December (12PM to 4PM)
