About
The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, is one of London’s most iconic landmarks. Standing at 135 meters tall, it offers stunning 360-degree views of the city from its glass capsules as it slowly rotates above the Thames
Insider Tips
The London Eye is one of the most popular attractions in London, and as a result, it gets extremely crowded. It's highly recommended to book your tickets in advance so you can skip the first queue to the ticket office. However, the time stated on your ticket is when you enter the second queue line to access the wheel. Expect at least an extra hour wait from this point at peak times. If you don't want to wait, you have the option to buy Fast Track tickets at a serious premium
Once on board, the wheel takes about 30 minutes for a full rotation. To ensure the best views, try to secure a window spot quickly, as the pods can become crowded during peak times, which might obstruct your view

When it first opened in 2000, the London Eye was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world! Although it has since been surpassed by others, it remains the tallest cantilevered observation wheel globally
