For 25£, the museum offers a guided "Highlight Tour" offering broader context on the different rooms and treasures in the museum. Tours last around 75 min and have a maximum capacity of 8 people. Sir John Soane was so meticulous about his collection and the layout of his home that he left detailed instructions in his will that nothing could be moved or altered after his death in 1837. To this day, the museum remains exactly as he intended it to be!
