The Painted Hall is an absolute masterpiece of Baroque art, with over 40,000 square feet of stunning murals. The ceiling depicts scenes of British military and naval triumphs, as well as allegorical figures representing prosperity and peace
It's highly recommended to take the half-hour tour (included in your ticket) which explains the symbols and narratives depicted throughout the hall. Tours run every hour between 11 AM and 4 PM. Alternatively, you can pick up a multimedia guide downstairs
