Arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the largest crowds. You can also enter the abbey free of charge during services, including the famous Evensong. Lastly, during summer, you can visit the abbey for half the price on selected Wednesdays between 4.30PM and 6PM (called "Abbey Lates")

It continues to play a central role in British royal life, having hosted recent events like the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011 or King's Charles coronation in 2023
