Not to be confused with the famous Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral is Catholic and far newer (completed in 1903), while Westminster Abbey is Anglican and steeped in royal history
For 6£, you can take a lift to the top of the Cathedral’s bell tower (also called the campanile) and get a bird's-eye view of London. Keep in mind that opening hours are currently restricted to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 11AM and 3.30PM and tickets may be purchased in the Cathedral shop
