Hello travellers!
I want to offer you a day of nature, paella and fun!
We will start the day with a walk through the small town of Banyalbufar, we will discover some hidden spots and enjoy the amazing views.
Possibility to start later: Anyone is free to skip the walk and join us later for the cooking part. In that case we would meet at 12 at home!
Next stop... dad's home! (located at the outskirts of the village just 10 minutes walk). That's when the gastronomic part of the experience begins! We will have some local snacks and get ready to start cooking paella 🥘 I will teach you how to start from scratch and follow every step to get the perfect one! The rest is pretty easy: eat, relax and enjoy :)
In the house, we will have the company of all our animals: five chickens, a rooster, four cats, and the princess of the house... the little dog Cati 🐶
You can get to the place by bus from Palma (TIB company, line 202 departing at 8:50 from Palma main bus station). If you come by car, I will send you some parking spots to make it easier.

What an incredible experience !!!!!! Patri is contagiously energetic! As we walked thru her village she told us the funniest stories about her family, the sheep and the donkey. She shared her family’s story and the paella recipe from her grandmothers passed on to her. Patri made our experience here in Mallorca and we cannot recommend it enough. Can’t wait to tell all our family and friend to spend the day with Patri here in Mallorca. What an incredible experience!

Patri was so welcoming and the food was very delicious. She was a wonderful host and everything was well structured. Visiting her home was amazing and meeting all of her chickens and cat was fun. Outstanding experience! It was everything we look for in a unique and authentic cooking class when visiting another country. Patricia was super friendly, a great teacher and a very generous host. Not only did we learn how to cook a traditional seafood paella but we got to try many different Spanish snacks and drinks that Patricia provided. Patricia's property is beautiful and serene with incredible views of the valley of Banyalbufar. She also has some friendly animals roaming the property to see (or to pet). Patricia's passion for cooking really shows and she was excellent at getting everyone in the group involved in the cooking and socializing. I highly recommend this experience, you won't regret it!
