Full description
Embark on an exhilarating journey through the Torrent de Pareis, a 3-kilometer dry canyon with vertical walls 200 meters high, formed by the erosive forces of water over millions of years. After your adventure, relax on the beach of Sa Calobra.
Meet Nicky at 8:30 AM at Sa Calobra. Drive through the windy road, a 30-minute ride up to the village of Escorca. After a short briefing about the activity and its risks, start your adventure via a challenging hiking trail that accesses the canyon. Once at the bottom of the Torrent of Lluc (one of the 2 streams that form the Torrent de Pareís gorge), continue through the blocks, and from S’Entrefoc, where the two streams meet, start descending. Navigate through narrow passages, scramble over boulders, and wade through shallow pools of water, adding to the excitement of the hike.
The journey through the canyon is not for the faint of heart, but it rewards hikers with stunning views of the towering cliffs and the wild beauty of Mallorca's interior. After approximately 5 hours inside the channel, characterized by towering limestone cliffs that rise dramatically on either side, the journey ends at the beach of Sa Calobra, a picturesque coastal village located on the northwest coast of Mallorca.
This tranquil place, considered a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the island, offers a perfect spot to unwind. Reward yourself with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. After enjoying a swim, relax on the beach, sunbathe, or explore the nearby caves and cliffs.
There are also facilities available, including showers, toilets, and a couple of beachside restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a refreshing drink with sea views, providing a sense of relief after the challenging hike.

Our group of four had a wonderful and really fun day hiking and climbing down the Torrent de Parreis and I can absolutely recommend booking the tour with ZigZag and Nicky. She was very kind, helpful and interested and made the tour a small adventure here on Mallorca.

An unforgettable experience! This tour was amazing, and Nikky was a fantastic guide! She gave clear instructions and was very attentive to everyone in the group. The hike itself is stunning but definitely not something to attempt without a guide. Be sure to be in good physical shape, wear proper hiking shoes, and don’t forget long socks—some of the vegetation is quite sharp. Highly recommended for adventurous hikers!

What a great tour! The absolute madness! The tour should never be done alone. The right guide is Nicky from ZigZag Tours. Nicky you were great, you guided us safely through the gorge. You knew every rock and the safe steps through the most difficult passages. There were quite a few of them. We would never have managed it on our own and would have turned round on the first descent. And we really went up the mountain. Thank you also for all the information and explanations about the gorge. Your friendly manner made us feel as if we had been friends for a long time. I wish you many more great tours with lovely guests like us. The next tour with us is sure to come soon. Thank you once again, stay the way you are!

We had the most amazing hike with ZigZag going down through the Torrent de Pareis in Mallorca. We had asked ZigZag to guide us because the Torrent can be tricky and we didn't feel confident enough to attempt it on our own. Nicky (ZigZag) expertly guided us over huge boulders and down through tricky climbs. We felt safe and in good hands at all times. We would not hesitate to use ZigZag again if we are in need of a guide. She is very competent and lots of fun too.

What an Amazing Excursion! Thank you Nicky for making it personable. It was just you and my family of 4. You were patient and guided me through the Beautiful Hike “Alcúdia & Beach Break “ The views were Stunning and Beach was a nice end to the hike! Thank You! Bring good sneakers and good water shoes! She even provided Snorkel Gear if you wanted to Snorkel! I Highly Recommend for anyone visiting Palma de Mallorca!
