Cala S'Almunia is a rocky cove with turquoise waters and limestone cliffs, offering a unique beach experience away from the typical sandy shores
Insider Tips
It's a rocky inlet with an eroded jetty and access to the sea is mainly via rocks and ramparts. There is a small stretch of sand, measuring less than 10 metres long, which is quickly filled in summer. The area is more suited for cliff jumping and exploring rather than traditional beach activities
New rules require visitors to park at Cala Llombards and walk 30 minutes (2.5km) to the steep stairs of the cove. There are no toilets or other facilities at this beach and it's not recommended for young children or those with mobility issues
