Cala Varques is a secluded cove on Mallorca’s east coast, offering a white sandy beach, turquoise waters, and dramatic pine-clad cliffs
Insider Tips
Cala Varques requires effort to access. Cars can take the gravel entry road to the free parking lot. From the lot, expect a 15-min walk through pine woods to reach the beach. Alternatively you can park your car near Cala Romantica and hike to Cala Varques, an easy 3.5km walk passing by the famous Pont Natural d'Es Caló Blanc (a natural stone bridge)
Cala Varques doesn't offer any restaurants, facilities, or water sports rentals, making it less suitable for families. Additionally, there are no options to rent sun loungers or umbrellas
