From 1 June to 30 September, the road section from Cala Formentor to the lighthouse is closed to cars from 10 AM to 10.30 PM. The only way to access the lighthouse is by bike or by using the shuttle bus 334 departing from Alcudia and stopping at Port de Pollenca and Cala Formentor where you can park your car
Failure to comply with the car restriction in summer will have you fined as traffic cameras are in place. You won't escape the fine even if you are renting a car!
