On top of Miró's extensive collection, facilities include Taller Sert, the studio designed by Miró's friend and architect Josep Lluís Sert, Son Boter, a 17th-century Mallorcan house also used by Miró as a studio, a library and a sculpture garden
The staff on site offers commented tours every Friday. Otherwise, private visits are available with a guide for €20 per person and need to be booked in advance

Joan Miró, born in Barcelona in 1893, had strong connections to Mallorca through his mother and wife. He lived on the island from 1956 until his death in 1983, and the museum was established posthumously in his former home and studios
