Discover the beauty of Montenegro’s coast with this 4-hour kayak and hiking adventure to Sveti Nikola Island. Starting from Slovenska Plaža beach in Budva, you’ll paddle across the shallow strait toward the island’s wilder, less-traveled side.
Your guide will lead you on a relaxed paddle toward Lagoon Beach, where you’ll land and begin a scenic hike along pine-covered trails. Along the way, you’ll climb rocky paths to the highest point of the island, the historic lighthouse, with breathtaking views over the Adriatic Sea and Budva Riviera.
Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including swallows that nest in the cliffs and sometimes sweep over the water to hunt. You'll also pass through hidden coves and peaceful groves that many visitors to Budva never see.
The return paddle is perfectly timed with golden hour, giving you a stunning view of Budva’s Old Town as the sun sets and the coastline is bathed in warm light. This was the best thing i did in budva. It was so fun and adventurous, it was my first time doing kayak but it was pretty easy and the hike was easy too
