Rediscover your connection to nature as you glide across the glassy surface of the Tara River in a stable, inflatable canoe made for two. This peaceful yet thrilling experience invites you to take control of your own canoe as you paddle through crystal-clear waters surrounded by forested riverbanks and the sound of wind in the trees.
You'll start and end at an Ethno Village and Camp, where you’ll receive all the equipment and a full safety briefing. Choose between two 6-kilometer routes depending on your level of adventure:
- Easier Option: Paddle downstream from the village to Šćepan Polje, enjoying a gentle current and time to take in the beauty.
- Heavier Option: Start upstream at Brštanovica for a slightly more challenging paddle back to the village.
A dedicated guide follows alongside in a separate raft, providing constant instruction and ensuring your safety. No prior canoeing experience is necessary, the boats are very easy to handle and ideal for beginners or families with older children. Expect a session that lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the pace and chosen route.

Meet at the Grab Ethno Village and Camp
Free parking is available on site. The last 1km section of the road is a gravel road with a steep descend but is accessible with a small car

- No previous canoe experience is required, just bring a sense of adventure and a willingness to get a little wet
- Children 7–14 must be accompanied by an adult or a guide
