Vanja brings a historian’s curiosity and a local’s insight to every stop
Start your active adventure at the Sea Gate of Kotor Old Town, where your guide Vanja (or his nephew Luka) greets you. After a short walk to the harbor, hop aboard a speedboat for a 15-minute cruise to the remarkable island of Our Lady of the Rock. There, learn the fascinating legends and history behind this sacred site floating in the bay.
Next, cruise to the village of Prcanj, where kayaks await. Begin a 1.5-hour paddle journey along the tranquil coast, with views of Kotor’s fortified walls and hidden gems along Dobrota’s shoreline. Along the way, enjoy a swim stop in the refreshingly clear waters of the Adriatic.
Back on shore, take a short break before switching gears to bicycles. Ride along a scenic 35-minute cycling route through quiet seaside lanes lined with stone houses. In Prcanj, stop to admire the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a baroque beauty and local landmark.
Return to your starting point with a deeper connection to Kotor's landscape, history, and culture, all experienced in one dynamic loop.

This trip was brilliant. We booked a group tour and as we were the only ones who had booked on, it felt more like we were being shown round Kotor Bay by a friend. We had an extra coffee stop at a hotel after the speedboat, and also a stop at a bakery halfway through the tour. A brilliant active tour, and way better than the tour everyone does in Kotor, getting speedboated around the exact same sites. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing trip today! Our guide told us a lot about Montenegro and the bay of Kotor. The difference boat, kajak and bike was very fun! I would recomment this tour to everyone!

We met our guide, Vanja, on time at the detailed location holding a sign with our names. He remembered us from the prior week when our in-laws had the same tour with him! He was very friendly, prepared, and made our 5 person group very close and relaxed. This 3-in-1 excursion was an incredible way to get in the water, islands, and local streets. We are an active couple and the kayaking/bicycling was great exercise to stimulate us. During the tour we had ample time to learn about the culture, take pictures, and soak up the bay. We finished with an authentic snack at a local bakery and enjoyed some delicious treats before bicycling back to finish our tour. We were able to connect with Vanja on several fun topics that weren’t related at all with the tour itinerary, making this a very personal experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone trying to have a more intimate and active setting in Kotor!

Vanja was the best! He was very informative and made sure we all had the best experience. The coffees and pastries were delicious! Kayaking and the long bike ride around the town was very enjoyable! I would definitely do this again and pick Vanja!

We had a wonderful day with Vanja! We got to learn and experience Kotor Bay by boat, kayak and bicycle in the most relaxed and fun way! Vanja was very knowledgeable and was able to keep all of us engaged in the history and sights although we were jet lagged! He took us to try the meat pie from a small bakery-the best we had on the entire trip! He offered us great suggestions on restaurants, sights as well! Thank you so much Vanja!
