This tour is the complete opposite of the big cruise ship groups that flood the Old Town every day. Instead of just ticking off the main sights, Stefan takes you through local market stalls to taste regional specialties and brings the city’s history to life with stories that are both captivating and easy to follow. You finish the tour with a lovely shared meal at a restaurant, and it genuinely feels like having dinner and conversation with an old friend. What I loved most was how personal and authentic the whole experience felt, and I'm sure you’ll feel the same!

Great storytelling
The host does not just share facts but turns history and local life into engaging, memorable stories
Small group
Intentionally limited group size for real interaction and questions
Authentic local flavours
Taste food or drink carefully sourced from the host or trusted local places
Meaningful connections
Real interactions with local makers, growers, or neighborhood leaders

If I could give this tour 100 stars, I would! Marina was absolutely incredible as a guide! She introduced me to the city of Kotor and told me all about the foods I was trying, the landmarks I was seeing, and all sorts of interesting facts about the city. If you're thinking about booking this tour, don't hesitate. You won't regret it!

Alex was very easy going, answered all questions and was very personable. She explained the history of the area and also oriented us on what we could do for remainder of our day. Food tasting started at local market. Tour ended with what I would consider to be a meal, more so than tasting which was a pleasant surprise.

We met our guide for a private tour for just the two of us. I was expecting it to be a small group and initially I felt intimidated as I couldn’t blend in. While our guide didn’t spend a lot of time explaining and touring us around the city, we had a fabulous conversation over a huge and delicious spread of food. We didn’t follow a leader hearing information about buildings, but rather sat down with a local and talked to him about life. He was a very passionate man with many interesting stories and perspectives. What a unique experience. I will remember this more than any regurgitated facts.
