Step aboard a scenic boat cruise on one of Montenegro’s best-kept secrets: the emerald waters of Piva Lake. Nestled in the mountains near Plužine, this man-made lake offers an unforgettable combination of peaceful landscapes, wild nature, and fascinating landmarks.
During this 90-minute tour, your local captain will guide you past towering cliffs, forested slopes, and tucked-away coves. Along the way, you’ll pause at the stunning Podvodće Bay, one of the lake’s most photogenic spots, for panoramic views and great photo opportunities.
Your journey continues with a visit to Oteša Cave, a natural site steeped in mystery and beauty. Weather permitting, you’ll also have a chance to jump in for a refreshing swim in the clear lake waters.
The captain will share insights about the lake’s origins, local folklore, and nature highlights along the route. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or visiting with kids or pets, this gentle adventure is a memorable way to explore the quieter side of Montenegro.
After the tour, your guide can take you to a peaceful lakeside terrace nestled in the shade. Here, you’ll be welcomed with a drink (choose between rakija, juice, or wine) and treated to a delicious barbecue lunch. Enjoy grilled meats, vegetables, or a traditional dish slow-cooked under the bell (ispod sača), all prepared with care by locals (barbecue lunch is optional and needs to be selected at check-out)

The tour was fantastic! Spent time at the cave, and then took a swim in the river while Vesko was preparing a delicious lunch. The team was super friendly, professional and kind. Food was great, with large portions. Views absolutely incredible. A real paradise to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

We had a lot of fun on the boat tour. Miladin immediately offered us drinks. Although he barely spoke English, he was very accommodating and explained a lot to us. We visited the impressive cave and then spontaneously went fishing. Unfortunately, it was already too cold for swimming. Nevertheless, it was a truly beautiful and personal tour, and we would do it again anytime.

If there were ten stars to rate here, Captain Miladin would deserve at least twelve! He made our last day in Montenegro absolutely unforgettable! His friendliness and charm immediately won us over. We arrived as guests and left as friends! Typical Montenegro! Highly recommended!

We spent authentic and wonderfull time with Miladin, our son played with his kids and was soo happy fishing with them. Also the owner is very honest person, he warned us about wind the day before and postponed the trip to the day after do we could really enjoy the trip. I recommend it 100%

We had an amazing time today with the captain Miladin and his son. You get beautiful views of Piva lake and the mountains here, you get to also swim and go to a cave nearby and can climb on it. Loved the kindness and honesty, recommend it.
