Bar, dominated by Montenegro's main port and a large industrial area, is unlikely to be anyone's holiday highlight. However, it serves as a convenient base for exploring southern Montenegro and is well-connected by bus and train, with regular services to Budva, Herceg Novi, Kotor, Ulcinj, and international destinations like Belgrade and Dubrovnik
