The best to start any exploration of Herceg Novi is its well-preserved Old Town, cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and numerous cafes, shops, and galleries. The main square is home a clock tower, called Sahat Kula, stands as one of the town's iconic landmarks. Expect hundreds of stairs!
Additional highlights include Kanli Kula, a 16th-century fortress offering panoramic views of the town and the bay (now converted into an open-air theater hosting concerts in summer), Forte Mare by the coast and the Spanish Fortress further up the hill, both also offering stunning views of the bay
