Kolašin is a small town in northern Montenegro, known for its scenic beauty, mountain activities, and accessibility. Sitting at 960ms above sea level, it serves as Montenegro’s main mountain resort, offering both winter sports and summer outdoor activities

Kolašin is renowned for its ski resorts, Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600 located 10 km further east. They offer 30 km of ski slopes suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced skiers. The ski season typically lasts from December to mid-April
The town is also a convenient base to explore the nearby Biogradska Gora National Park, the Mrtvica Canyon or the Morača Monastery during the summer period. There are also several marked hiking trails around Kolašin that lead into the Bjelasica Mountains. Popular trails include the 16km route through forests to Mt Ključ or the route to Zekova Glava and passing by Lake Pešića
