Full description
Leave the stone streets of Berat behind for a day of fresh air, flowing water, and dramatic canyon scenery.
You’ll meet your guide at the 'Gate of the Pasha' monument and set off on a comfortable drive toward Bogova village (around 45 minutes). The road itself is part of the experience: rolling hills, small villages, and changing views that signal you’re heading into nature.
After a short refreshment break, you’ll begin a roughly 40-minute hike toward Bogova Waterfall, a peaceful spot tucked into the landscape of Tomorr Mountain National Park. As the sound of water gets louder, the path opens to a cool, shaded oasis: a waterfall spilling into a clear natural pool. Take your time here, snap photos, soak up the calm, and enjoy a refreshing dip.
Next, you’ll continue your drive toward Osumi Canyon (about 20 km). Along the way, your guide shares local legends and the spiritual heritage tied to the region. When you arrive, you’ll explore the canyon area at an easy, flexible pace: stopping at viewpoints, walking sections near or inside the canyon, and enjoying the unique mix of vegetation, streams, and pools.

Hi! We are Ervis, Orest and Genti, your guides, drivers, and unofficial “Where should I look for the best photo?” consultants for the day. We love showing guests the landscapes around Berat because every bend in the road changes the view, and every stop has a story behind it.
We're big on making the day easy: We handle the timing, the route, and the practical bits, so you can focus on the fun parts: fresh air, waterfall vibes, canyon views, and the occasional brave moment of “Okay… yes… that water is definitely cold!"

My fiancée and I had an unforgettable tour with our guide Ervis, who was simply amazing - very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and a polyglot. Visiting in early November, well outside tourist season, meant we could enjoy the calm beauty of the sites without crowds. The trade-off was the "cold" weather (22°C in the sun) and chilly water (around 4–6 °C at the waterfall, slightly warmer in the canyon). No wetsuits were available, so we only went waist-deep into the waterfall; swimming was possible but far too cold for us. We were offered the chance to enter parts of and swim in the canyon, and even though it wasn’t the full canyoning adventure we’d hoped for, it was a overall serene, scenic, and very well-guided experience we would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys nature and doesn’t mind a bit of cold.

We had an amazing day with our guide Ervis. We did the canyon tour and even though we didn't swim (as it was a bit too cold since we did the tour end of October), we very much enjoyed the view points, canyon and drive. The area is beautiful and the canyon lookouts were amazing. Ervis not only told us all about the canyon and surrounding area, he also answered all of our questions about the city of Berat, Albania and its people and diverse culture, history and religions. We learned a lot that day and left the day with new perspectives about the country. All in all, we had a great time and would very much recommend.
Nina
We had a wonderful time and a great day with our guide Ervis. The canyon and the whole tour was very beautiful.

The trip was awesome Our guide was there for us with all his knowledge and photography skills, we got some amazing impressions of the canyon, went swimming and hiking. The transport is really adventurous, but we were in good hands. I'd do it again anytime and thanks a lot :)
Claudia
Our guide was super friendly, explained a lot during the tour, and shared a ton of knowledge about how the canyon was formed. We had plenty of time for photos and were happy to help out. The canyon is breathtaking and the tour through it is beautiful. How often in life do you get to hike through a canyon and enjoy a delicious meal there? Absolutely recommended!
