Set off on a coastal kayaking adventure that shows you a more intimate side of the Albanian Riviera. This guided experience combines gentle adventure, hidden natural spots, and long stretches of luminous blue water into one rewarding day on the sea.
Meet your guide in the morning at Drymades Beach, where the day begins with a short but important introduction. You’ll receive a safety briefing, learn how to use the equipment, and go over basic paddling techniques before heading out. The tour uses professional two-seat sea kayaks, making the experience approachable even for first-time paddlers, while still being enjoyable for those with previous experience. Each kayak comes with a waterproof barrel for personal belongings, so you can bring your essentials without worrying about splashes.
Once on the water, the coastline quickly begins to reveal its quieter magic and you can admire the rugged beauty of the shore from a completely different perspective. Along the route, you’ll pass scenic stretches near Bohem Beach and Dhermi Beach.
One of the standout moments of the trip is Pirate Cave, a sea cave that can only be reached from the water. Visiting this cave adds a sense of discovery and fun to the day, giving the tour a genuine adventure element.
The journey continues to Gjipe Beach and Canyon, a natural jewel often called the “Gods’ Garden.” Reaching it by kayak makes the arrival even more rewarding. Here, the day opens up into time for swimming, beach breaks, relaxing, and exploring. The overall route covers around 13 kilometers round trip, with approximately 2.5 hours of paddling spread across a 6-hour experience, so the day feels balanced rather than rushed. There is plenty of time built in for rest stops and enjoying the surroundings.

We were here two days in a row. The first day for the kayak day trip along the coast, the second day for the introductory diving. Both activities were fantastic. Excellent guidance, high-quality equipment, and a lot of fun.

Nice to view the coastal line from the kayak. Good instructor. We stayed for 2 hours on the beach where we bought some lunch. Therefore the whole trip took 6 hours. We had a wonderful day!
