This guided mountain bike adventure is the perfect way to explore the wild beauty of Durmitor National Park. Designed for active travelers and off-road enthusiasts, the route covers a range of terrain, from scenic forest trails to steep alpine climbs and downhill paths.
Your ride begins in Žabljak with a warm-up toward the village of Razvršje, where you'll have great view of Durmitor mountains, Savin Kuk, and Međed peaks. From there, follow a forested single track downhill to the Black Lake, Durmitor’s most iconic and largest glacial lake.
Continue on a narrow, uphill trail alongside Mlinski potok (The Mill Spring), where the silence is only broken by birdsong. Soon, you’ll reach Zminje Lake, a tranquil emerald lake tucked deep in the woods and home to dragonflies.
As the trail winds on, you’ll pass Bosaca, the highest village in the Balkans, before climbing through the forest to reach Stuoc for panoramic views over Žabljak and the surrounding peaks.
Your final descent brings you to Barno Lake, a hidden gem nestled in a grassy alpine meadow at the foot of Crvena Greda. From here, choose your finale: a relaxed downhill ride along asphalt, or a challenging descent through rocky forest paths for an adrenaline rush.
Whether you're here for the views, the thrill, or the connection with nature, this tour delivers a full-sensory mountain experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day E Bike tour in Durmitor National Park. Our guide Dušan was excellent and he adapted the tour to suit our abilities. Dušan is a national standard MTB rider and yet was very happy to guide us on a much simpler route using gravel paths through the forests, as well as tarmac roads through villages. He was knowledgeable about the park, sharing information about what we could see each time we stopped and was easy and friendly in all his interactions with us. The route took in some amazing panoramic views and Dušan managed the pace well, giving us time to stop and rest and enjoy the views, whilst also making sure we covered a good distance (35km) during our time on the bikes. The E Bikes were great quality and made easy work of the hilly terrain, which made it all so much fun! Thank you for a great half day. A real highlight of our time in Durmitor National Park.

Amazing experience – I would highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Dušan, was fantastic. He tailored the route to suit our ability, shared lots of interesting facts about the area, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. It was a brilliant way to explore the lakes and the beautiful surrounding scenery. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Žabljak!

It was really worth it to me. Egor really showed me all the nice trails and all the awesome spots that you would not find in your strava or trailforks. As a bonus he, gives cool trivias along the way like the flora and fauna, history, and some foraging tips. Despite the wet weather, I was amazed with the tour. I hope more trails get built and I will for sure come back to see what has changed.

We booked the e-biking tour in Dumitor National Park and had a great time. I was a bit nervous as I had never been mountain biking or e-biking before but our guide tailored our route to our abilities and comfort level. He was very friendly, kind, and professional. There is some fitness and general comfortability on bikes required but it is a suitable activity for beginners. Our route included lakes, viewpoints, asphalt roads, and gravel and forest trails. It was a real adventure that I will always remember and one of the highlights of my trip to Montenegro!
