Join the Leković family for an authentic wine tasting experience in the heart of Montenegro’s wine region. Located in the village of Godinje, one of the oldest rural settlements in the country and now a protected cultural heritage site, this family-run winery has been producing wine and spirits for over 300 years.
You’ll be welcomed by your host Misko at the family home, where you’ll be invited to taste four locally made wines: white, orange, rose and red wine, rakija (grape brandy), and a family-made liquor. Each sip is accompanied by local bites, Montenegrin cheese, olives, prosciutto, olive paste and homemade biscuits.
As you sip and savor, your host will share stories of the family’s winemaking heritage and the village’s medieval architecture, which includes stone houses, narrow alleys, and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Learn about the history of the nearby Grmožur island (once a prison, now a bird reserve) and discover how the Leković family is working to revive village life and preserve their proud winemaking legacy.
This is more than just a tasting, it’s a heartfelt cultural experience that will leave you feeling connected to the land, the history, and the people of Montenegro.

Delicious wines and food. Eye for every detail. Really nice and polite owner. The environment adds to the experience. An old yellow stoned village on a hillside. Recommend 100% while sipping on the one bottle of red I took as a souvenir. Still absolutely delicious while back in my own home.

I've been to dozens of winetastings across the world, I think this one is a unique experience. Miško is a kind, humble and knowledgeable man. He looked after us with some homemade local food and his special wines which I bought one of. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Miško, I wish you all the best in life.

The wine tasting was absolutely delicious – four really good wines and a fantastic aperitif platter. They also explained everything about the production process in detail, and the two hosts were incredibly friendly! I would 100% recommend it. It's also located a bit higher up in a small, semi-abandoned castle village – lovely! Thank you for the wonderful evening!
