Virpazar is a small village and parking is notoriously challenging in summer. The largest parking is located immediately on your left after you cross the railway and enter the village. Alternatively, there is a parking alongside the main road (M2), just before crossing the railway

Virpazar was the site of the July 13th Uprising in 1941, the first organized armed rebellion in occupied Europe against the Axis powers during World War II. You can still see a dramatic, large-scale monument to the Partisans standing atop a rock in the center of the village
