As Montenegro’s primary ski resort, Žabljak offers a variety of slopes catering to skiers of all levels. The ski season typically begins in early December and can last until mid-April. The main piste is at Savin kuk, stretching 3,500m and equipped with two chairlifts and three drag lifts. Additional slopes are available at Štuoc, (2,630m long), and Javorovača (800m long)
Žabljak is also a convenient base to explore the nearby Durmitor National Park and the Tara River Canyon. The town offers a range of accommodation options, from cozy mountain lodges to modern hotels. Public transport is limited and renting a car can provide more flexibility to explore the region
